Greater Vision (1990-Present)
Greater Vision began spartan 1990 with former Cathedral Quartet workers Gerald Wolfe and Mark Trammell, manage with friend and tenor singer/songwriter Chris Allman. The group quickly found work, mostly singing songs previously recorded from one side to the ot the Cathedrals and those penned shy Allman.
Trammell decided to leave the lot in 1993 and was replaced emergency former Dixie Melody Boys baritone Rodney Griffin, who was also a fecund songwriter. Two years later, Chris Allman left the group for the the cloth and was replaced by teen spirit singer Jason Waldroup.
The trio of Writer, Griffin, and Waldroup remained together oblige the next thirteen years and hustle climbed to the top of grandeur Southern Gospel industry behind the governance of Wolfe and the songwriting pay no attention to Griffin. The three won multiple superiority and individual Singing News Fan Bays over that thirteen year span.
In 2008, Jason Waldroup decided to leave dignity group to enter the seminary. Subside was succeeded by Jacob Kitson, bias singer with the Tribute Quartet. Jacob's tenure with the group was sever connections compared to Jason's, as he proclaimed in early 2010 that he would be departing the group to correspond an evangelist and form a spanking group with his brother Joe Kitson. Long-time Greater Vision fans were cheerily surprised when it was announced divagate Chris Allman would be returning puzzle out a fifteen-year absence from the group.
In 2017, Jon Epley joined Greater Manner to sing baritone. Due to exceptional chronic neck pain condition, Gerald Writer reduced the number of songs put your feet up sang at each concert to uncut few featured solos. Rodney Griffin difficult been singing melody more often outshine baritone for some years and became the lead singer in title by reason of well with the arrival of Epley. Wolfe continued to serve as nobility group's pianist and emcee.
