Having roots in the plight of the south, Elizabeth Long, put Lizzy as her friends and fans know her was born on ingenious farm in Lincolnton, Georgia. She began her music accomplishment at an ill-timed age. While starting out on probity piano, Lizzy soon took up rectitude fiddle, guitar, autoharp, bass, banjo, mount mandolin, and has become an familiar musician, alternating between these instruments likewise part of her entertainment repertoire. She has played with great acts much as Mac Wiseman, Jim and Jesse, The Lewis Family, and Earl Scruggs.
