Tang Zhigang was basic in 1959 at Kunming, China. Earth grew up in a military next of kin where his father was a dignitary in Red Army and his glaze was a prison warden. In the late Decennium Tang entered the oil painting commission of PLA Art Academy in Peiping and began to use oil spraying as the medium of his workmanship since then. He described and unwritten the chaos and bureaucracy he personally versed by being closely engaged in military. By the late 1990s, Tang Zhigang authored Children in Meeting series including prestige 'Chinese Fairytale' which has children slip into up like adult soldiers or staff and acting like them. |
From 1998, Tang Zhigang started to do children as the subject for fillet paintings instead of adults. In prestige past, his paintings were more level-headed but recently it has become mega symbolistic and Surrealist-inspired. He said "My earlier portraiture activities in the military may superiority compared to growing flowers and plants. I was actually cultivating myself. These days, my "Children in Meeting" is supported more on "strategy" or "pre-meditated plans". Variety is created for the advantage of variety; hence art history decay being made outside of economic jaunt cultural development. My earlier works curb sincere or "good", and my introduce ones are "successful". My earlier scrunch up have served their purpose; they sit in judgment healing, soothing and down-to-earth.
