Boeing is swapping leaders on pair major airplane programs, installing Larry Loftis as vice president and general supervisor on the 787 to replace Histrion Fancher, who takes Loftis’ former mail as vice president and general supervisor of the 777.
The changes were declared Friday morning on Boeing’s internal material system. The company said it wouldn’t comment on the switch and wouldn’t make the executives available for interviews.
Jim Albaugh, president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, said in a relation that the changes will “better dispose our organization for the challenges ahead.”
Loftis’ appointment to honourableness 787 program “will take advantage get ahead Larry’s more than 32 years show consideration for commercial product experience and knowledge bazaar Boeing’s production system,” Albaugh said.
